What emotional impact do you want your photography to have upon the reader and how will you achieve this?
My image will project excitement and energy through the use of bright colours and fun props such as balloons.
What personnel do you need? Who are you going to photograph?
I will need a 17 year old female to be in my images both on the cover ad double page spread, I also need bright lighting.
What props will you need?
Balloons, brightly coloured make up and a bow for hair. Because I can’t find any magazines of the same genre I am using music videos for inspiration and to fit with alternative pop there will be a lot of props and colour to make the cover work.
How are you going to emphasise colour?
With the use of contrasting makeup and hair colour, and brightly coloured clothes. I will also use a green screen so I can change my background.
Have you briefed your personnel/models?
Yes I have someone that fits the look I’m going for who will be my model. She knows how she needs to pose and what she’ll be wearing.
Where will you shoot? Will you need a backdrop?
I will shoot in the photography studio, with a green screen as my backdrop. Shooting indoors eliminates issues that come with shooting outdoors such as weather.
Mise-en-scene - Make-up? Costumes? Props?
Make up will be bright and colourful, my main image will be very busy but the model will be the clear focus.
